Lot/Homestead Layout Planning « Thread Started on Oct 19, 2007, 9:52am »
I am looking for information on how to design the exact layout and location of each of the components of my future homestead/home including the house, shop, driveway, garden, etc. Any information will be appreciated on good books, computer design programs, and other resources that will help me to design exactly where everything will go, and to determine what size each homestead component will be before I start building. I've always liked the info presented in Ten Acres Enough on this subject. You might also scare up a copy of Finding and Buying Your Place in the Country.
